Sunday the 26th November was the Annual Christmas Fair at Zetland Court hosted by the Association of Friends, with all proceeds going towards the home, its staff and residents.

This year we were asked to accompany the PGM for Hants & IoW, RWBro Mike Wilks who also happens to be an honorary member of Dorset Masonic Bikers. Mike lead the parade on his Kawasaki with Santa as his pillion passenger accompanied by six bikers and their elfish passengers hanging on!

A lot of seasonal stalls selling everything to make your Christmas complete were there as well as laughter, smiles and enjoyment in supporting this very worthy cause.

Forthcoming events, save the dates in your diary!

9th December 2017

We have been invited to join in the annual toy run hosted by the Widows Sons MBA, Southern Chapter on the 9th December. The event starts at 9.30am from Kings Court Masonic Centre (No.18, SO53 2GG), with a rider briefing at 9:50am. The group will then ride to the SCRATCH Sorting Office (SO16 9RG).

All Dorset Masonic Bikers are welcome, along with friends and family too, any additional toy donations on the day would be appreciated.

The PGM for Hants & IoW, RWBro Mike Wilkswill lead the escort of the toys to the old Millbrook School in Green Lane, Southampton where they will be handed over to SCRATCH.  A quick tour of the sorting facility can be completed then, after some tea and biscuits, the PGM will lead the cheque presentation before leaving SCRATCH.

Fancy dress is welcome, so don your favourite Christmas outfit, (with motorcycle safety in mind) and join in the fun!  Even your bike can dress up too!

If you'd like to come along you're more than welcome. Because of the time of year and possible weather conditions most will be travelling by car, unless of course your name is Gary Watton!
