Freemasonry Supports Dorset Hospices

Matt Devereux, Provincial Grand Charity Steward, has this week visited three Dorset Hospices to present Grant Awards from the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

Weldmar Hospicecare Trust is continuing to develop it's extensive range of Hospice and Community based services and the MCF grant will support their vital work.

Julia's House in Dorset faces increasing demands to support Children with life limiting conditions, and has recently introduced new services to support parents and the wider family members preparing for, and coping with bereavement. Again the MCF grant recognizes this valuable contribution.

Lewis-Manning Hospice has recently opened their residential rooms and extended their range of Hospice and Community based services. The MCF grant has specifically been used to establish a new Physiotherapy Unit for residential and day visiting service.

These grants continue to show how Freemasonry is active and caring in the local Community.
