Dorset Masonic Museum hosts University undergraduates
The Dorset Masonic Museum continues with its programme offering a guided tour of exhibits to undergraduates. Museum curator, Peter Shenton, is currently planning a series of exhibitions throughout the year for those seeking a wider knowledge of Freemasonry.
Enquiry in the Universities Scheme in Dorset has increased through interest from undergraduates at the Bournemouth University and the Art University Bournemouth as well as from other academic establishments. London Haven Lodge, is the United Grand Lodge of England Universities Scheme lodge for Dorset Freemasonry and will carry out a double ceremony this month.
Following a number of successful visits to the museum, Peter is now arranging one that will not coincide with academic classes. The next guided tour takes place on Saturday, 2nd March, commencing at 10.00 am, to which Masons and non-Masons are ensured of a warm welcome.
If you would like further details, please telephone Peter on 01202 736323 or send an e-mail to pdpgm-cd@dorsetfreemasonry.info.

Jodie particularly wanted to learn details about her grandfather's Masonic career and was interested to learn something of the history of Freemasonry.
