Dorset's newest Chapter is consecrated!

Consecration of Dorset Masonic Bikers Chapter No 1367

On Saturday 15th February in over 70 brethren gathered in Portland to witness the consecration of Dorset's newest Holy Royal Arch Chapter by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, Graham Glazier and his team.

The Dorset Masonic Bikers Chapter No 1367 is the first Holy Royal Arch Chapter dedicated to biking enthusiasts within the Province of Dorset. Their Founders are a friendly group of men who not only have biking at heart but also the inclusion of their partners and family. Their masonic business will be carried out and concluded within each meeting in order that their partners are able to join them for a convivial meal if they so wish. On the day of their meetings they will endeavour to include a ride or drive out where we can all enjoy the beauty of Dorset and surrounding counties together.

Immediately after the Consecration Trevor Bond, Mark Burstow and Brian Tritton were installed as the First, Second and Third Principals respectively, with many of the other Founders taking offices within the chapter.

With two joining members and a retinue of Exaltees being proposed at the meeting, the future certainly looking bright for the formative years of the Bikers!

The proceedings were followed by a fantastic luncheon celebrating the marvellous efforts of the Founders in bringing their dream to fruition.
